AltheonAI is powered by a group of professionals in the cutting-edge fields of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and many other disciplines. Our core team and advisors bring about a diverse range of experiences from top companies and institutions, including NASA, Deloitte, Bosch, Argonne Laboratories, Aarete, and more. About the Fellowship

Fellows join AltheonAI to conduct research and complete a project about a company/topic of their choice with mentorship from entrepreneurship and academic veterans. The goal of the fellowship is to combine your passions with AI, coming up with a novel idea on how to change the world. Each Fellow is paired with a primary mentor from the AltheonAI core team and will be introduced to relevant advisors and alumni. Fellows will have the chance to continue their work with AltheonAI as a full time contributor, democratizing AI for all.

‍Qualifications

We encourage you to apply if you have an interest in bridging the gap between theory and applied AI through real world experience. Our team is interested in candidates from a STEM background who have unique passions and hobbies. Base competencies we expect of all fellows:

• The ability to produce clearly written, insightful research. The concept of first principles thinking is a core process of our team’s innovative problem solving.

• Skills or knowledge that are likely to be helpful for work in the field of AI, whether that be past internships, TA experience, or a passion project.

• Openness to feedback, commitment to intellectual honesty and rigour, and ability to get out of your social comfort zone.

Duration and Location

We have a lovely office about 20 minutes away from the Chicago loop. However, fellows will have to chance to work hybrid with 1-2 days in office in order to get the most out of our expert advisors and core team. Fellowships typically last 3-5 months with fellows being encouraged to continue working with AltheonAI even after the program has ended.

The application process consists of an initial submission, a technical test, and a panel interview with the core team (in office or remote). All applicants should hear back from our team in 7 business days.
